Happiness is not achieved. Happiness exists in the present moment; it is now or never. These postures teach us contentment, peace, and acceptance. Can we breathe in our asana practice? Can we find stillness? Can we be soft in our strength? If our practice consists of finding happiness in achieving a posture, we are not practicing but merely competing.
